TRADITION GARDEN COTTAGE

The comfortable Tradition Garden Cottages is nested in the upper part of the hotel surrounded by a lush lush tropical foliage with local trees such as the native “gaïac”, oleanders, frangipani, bougainvilleas flowers and other types of foliage. It offers that flair of tradition with beautiful terra cotta floors and West Indian furniture made out of mahogany wood that with age has acquired a beautiful patina. This delightful Tradition Garden Cottage offer a king-size bed, a fully equipped open-plan-kitchen which extends onto a large terrace that serves as dining room and outdoor living space, with a mahogany table, benches and 2 chaise lounges plus a hammock.

Our garden : For many guests, the gardens themselves are a diversion, fragrant, relaxing, all aflutter with hummingbirds and sugarbirds. The first things guests notice o are the colourful floral splashes that line the pathways and drape the balconies and pergolas but look closely and here and there along the pathways engrossing sculptures by the internationally admired French sculptor, Yann Jost, turn the gardens into a mini-gallery – and, for some guests, an oasis of meditation. Many of our trees and shrubs are native to the tropics – gaiac, coubaril, lemongrass, fern, bamboo and one imposing hundred-year-old West Indian locust tree – and there are even a few handy lime trees that guests often pluck to add a zesty accent to their sundown rum drinks.
